If your Provider refers you to a specialist or for outside testing, that request will be sent to our referral department. The Referral Coordinators will make the necessary appointment(s) and contact you by phone with the date and time of your appointment. A letter of confirmation of the Date and Time of the appointment will also be sent to your address. You should hear from them within 4-5 business days. If you have Primecare insurance coverage you must contact them to select your PCP Before your appointment. If this is not done, you may be responsible for the charges due at that appointment. This also applies if your insurance plan is an HMO, such as Anthem
